The remains of this are possibly incorporated into the present early 18th century house known as Balcarrick House which is situated along the coast S of Portraine. This is a two-storey oblong block with hipped roof, which is slated. According to the 1976 report the ground floor windows contained glazing bars. house has since been refurbished and windows replaced.
