The National Monuments Service's description
Formerly in the ornamental grounds of Malahide Demesne. According to Westropp (1915) the site originally comprised an earthen platform c. 17m in diameter, enclosed by a fosse (Wth 3-4m), a bank (Wth c. 2m) and an outer fosse (Wth.3-4m, D 1m). It had been quarried in the middle for gravel at the time of Westropp's visit.
