The National Monuments Service's description

Located within an open field of tillage. An extensive cobbled surface and foundations of walls with associated finds of Leinster Cooking Ware and glazed medieval pottery were exposed during the construction of a gas pipeline in 1988. These were located on low-lying ground W of Saucerstown House and S of the Broadmeadow River (Halpin, E.1988, 17-18).
