The National Monuments Service's description
This is an elongated, irregularly shaped mound (dims. L 35m, Wth 20m, H 1.50m). It is marked as a circular earthwork on the OS 1938 map (Healy 1975, 24). Located in undulating large open fields with extensive views. Survives as low mound within buffer zone of rough pasture. Five small granite pillars have been inserted into the mound as an artwork.
