The National Monuments Service's description
Located on raised grassland North of the Ward River.This windmill is shown on Rocques map (1760) (Ní Ghabhláin 1987, 114). It is marked as 'windmill stump' on the 1st edition OS 6-inch map. Site now built over with a housing estate.
