The National Monuments Service's description
Shown on Duncan's map (1821) and on 1st edition OS 6-inch map (1837) as 'Family Graveyard' . It is associated with Brackenstown House, formerly the home of Chief Baron Bysse. There is a tradition that Cromwell visited the house in the 17th century.
