The National Monuments Service's description

Excavated in advance of Lusk Relief Road (Licence no. 02E1529) this was a multi-period site. The early medieval phase was characterised by successive penannular ditches (25m-40m diam.). These contained E-ware and a pseudo-pennanular bronze ring pin suggesting a 7th-9th century date (Johnston 2002).
