The National Monuments Service's description
This site was excavated prior to development of a housing estate (Licence no. 05E0848). Located immediately N of ringfort enclosure (DU008-103001-) this enclosure was defined by a complex of shallow ditches that were filled with charred cereal remains, predominantly oats. This area was likely to have been used to process cereals (Giacometti 2011, 160).
