The National Monuments Service's description

Located in a hollow between two ridges. Revealed during pre-development work on the Northern Motorway. Comprised an oval pit (L 1.96m, Wth 1.4m, D 0.57m) filled with burnt mound material. Forty-three stake-holes arranged in two parallel lines suggest a fence -line or light structure related to the use of the pit (Campbell, K.2003, 90).
