The National Monuments Service's description
Human remains associated with a flint blade were discovered c. 1957 (NMI 1957:5). Found in field of tillage on slightly undulating ground. There is no visible surface trace (Cahill & Sikora 2011, 468). The area at Daw's bridge in the vicinity of the site was subject to extensive drainage works-Lissenhall-Jordanstown Trunk Water Main Scheme- by Fingal County Council. The works were subject to intermittent monitoring (Licence 08E0178) although monitoring was constant where it passed in proximity to this site. Nothing of archaeological significance was noted (Kyle 2009)
