The National Monuments Service's description
Located on the northern outskirts of Ballyboghil village in an open site that enjoys good views of the surrrounding countryside. A laneway skirts the S of the graveyard. There is new housing immediately to its E. It has been extended to the west. The graveyard is rectangular in plan (L 50m, Wth 35m) and is enclosed by a hedge. Its interior is raised above the level of the external ground level. Within the graveyard are the remains of a church (DU007-010001-). SE of the church there are a number of mouldings used as grave markers. Graveyard previously surveyed in 1992 (Egan). Still in use.
