The National Monuments Service's description
Pre-development geophysical survey (Licence Ref: 07R0011 and 07R0158) identified a large bivallate circular enclosure with a projected diameter of c.60m. The responses recorded from detailed survey were unusually strong, and from this high range of magnetic variation it can be expected that substantial remains of burning / firing activity are present (Nicholls 2007). This enclosure is associated with interconnecting ditches encompassing an area of 200m x 50m (DU005-115001-).
