The National Monuments Service's description

Pre-development excavations in 2001 uncovered a complex series of Medieval and Post-Medieval phases of activity. These included a series of post-holes, hearths and two lintelled stone drains. There was an industrial level of grain processing on site. Material usually associated with corn-drying kilns was uncovered but no actual corn-drying kiln was identified. (01E0646).
