The National Monuments Service's description
Holmpatrick church site (DU005-031001-) and graveyard (DU005-031002-) lies at the SW end of a prominent ridge overlooking Skerries village and the E coast of Dublin. According to Campion (1969, 39) in 1893 T. U. Steel uncovered ; 'in the churchyard an Octagonal Font in bad condition half buried. He had two men dig it up and place it in a more suitable position. On one side there is a shield carved with a hand on it'
