The National Monuments Service's description
Fording point over the Delvin River which connects the townland of Westown, Co. Dublin with the townland of Naul, Co. Meath. Annotated ‘Ford of Fine’ on the 1837 edition of the OSi six-inch map. Crossing point over the Delvin River possibly depicted at this location on the 1655-9 Down Survey map of Clonalvy parish, Co. Meath (NLI MS 715/1).
