Annotated ‘Quarry’ and depicted as a circular-shaped area (approx. diam. 50m) with smaller quarry area 40m to NE on the 1837 ed. OSi 6-inch map, where it is shown located on the county boundary with Meath. Not indicated on the last ed. OSI 6-inch map. Modern huuse and yard visible in the area of the quarry visible on the 2013-18 MapGenie orthoimage.
