The National Monuments Service's description
The precise location of a medieval house in townland of Garristown has not been identified. The 1654-56 Civil Survey of Dublin recorded stated that in Garristown on the lands of Margarett Bath al[ia]s Goulding widow
Ir [ish] Papist' there stood; 'one house with a backside worth two poundes' (Simington 1945, 17).
