The National Monuments Service's description
Pre-development investigations in 2005 revealed a multiple-ditched enclosure. There was no indication of a habitation area within the excavated portion of the site and only very limited evidence for structures. One of the ditches produced a calibrated radiocarbon date of AD 1002-1013 (Bolger, T 2009, 27-29).
