The National Monuments Service's description
Internal diam. c. 30m. A 10m arc of stone wall c. 1.25m high incorporated in a field boundary would seem to be the remains of a cashel. There is no geographical reason for the bend in the wall at this point. It is densely overgrown and there is no local tradition but the townland name would strengthen the suggestion. It is situated on a roughly circular ridge of high ground.
