The National Monuments Service's description

In rough pasture, in gently undulating ground, which shelves away gradually for c. 200m to N into a marshy basin occupied by Lough Narath. Immediately to S of the enclosure, the ground dips into a shallow E-W depression, marked by dense rushes, to S of which ground rises again in a terrace of karst. Subcircular area (30.5m WNW–ESE; 27.5m NNE–SSW) defined by a low bank (Wth 2-2.7m; H 0.4m). The bank, which has a broadly slumped profile, is covered by moss and sod which may conceal a stony core. Two moderately large stones, one of which is set perpendicular to the line of the bank, protrude from the bank at SE. The level interior is not noticeably raised above exterior ground level and is marked by low mossy hummocks. A concentration of sod-covered stones occupies a slight dip in the SE quadrant. There is a circular depression (diam. 2m) in the W half. There is an enclosure (DG104-014----) 100m to SW, an enclosure (DG104-015----) 120m to SSW, and another enclosure (DG104-017----) 150m to E.
