The National Monuments Service's description
Internal diam. 27.8m E-W, 29.3m N-S. An earthen platform from .5m to 1.5m above the surrounding ground is enclosed by an earthen bank up to .68m in height and by a largely silted-up fosse, best evident on the SW side, varying from 2.6m to 3.2m in width. There is slight evidence of an outer bank up to .3m in height and 4.7m in width. Six stones protrude through the surface of the interior, otherwise it is flat. The site is located on a prominent height overlooking the sea to the N, S and W in an area of good grass-land. There is some marshy land immediately to the S.
