The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on steep W facing slope of river valley in upland area with stream immediately to the W. A roughly sub-circular sunken area (int. dims. 2.05m x 2.45m) built into the W face of rising ground enclosed by the remains of an earthen bank with evidence of internal stone facing forming a sunken interior with a possible entrance (Wth 0.95m) facing W towards the stream. No structure is indicated on any edition of the Ordnance Survey 6-inch map. The shape of the interior and its location built into the face of a hillside with possible entrance facing onto a stream located immediately to the W suggests that this may be the remains of a possible sweathouse or a kiln of some sort. No kiln is indicated on any edition of the Ordnance Survey maps. A lime kiln is indicated on the 25-inch Ordnance Survey map in the field to the W of the stream. A second possible sweathouse (DG097-042001-) is located 2m to the s. A third similar structure (DG097-043) facing onto the stream is located 90m further uplsope to the NNE.
