The National Monuments Service's description
Internal diam. 18.1m ENE WSE, 15.6m NNW SSE. A subcircural area enclosed on the N side by a largely destroyed stone wall of original width c. 2.2m. Most of the S side of the monument is defined by a bank of earth and stone and on the SE by rock outcrop, on the inside, and the outer edge marked by an earthen bank up against the outcrop. Part of the edge has been quarried away on the S side. The interior is flat. The site is located on a knoll of land sloping S to the sea. The surrounding land is poor to fair pasture.
