The National Monuments Service's description

Situated in the foothills of Slieve League on the SE facing slope of rising ground 635m SSE of Hugh Mac Brick's Church (DG090-004001-) are the remains of two penitential cairns (DG090-011001-) which mark the starting point of the turas to Hugh Mac Brick's Church (pers comm Gene Curran). One of these stone cairns (H 1.9m; base diam. 2.5m) appears to have been built on the remains of an earlier hut site the internal wall facing of which is still visible. A second cairn (DG090-011001-) is located 2m to the W.
