The National Monuments Service's description
Although not marked on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map the 2nd and 3rd editions show this as the site of a church and burial ground (DG053-028001-). No trace of it now survives and it was probably destroyed by the building of the railway line (Kinahan 1885-86, 426). Situated on the lower marshy slopes of a hill rising from the River Swilly.
