The National Monuments Service's description
A souterrain apparently c. 4ft deep and 3ft wide, sides built with drystone and covered with flags was recorded here in 1953 (NMI). No trace of it could be found on this occasion.
The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.'
