The National Monuments Service's description
There is no trace of the 'Fort' shown on the 1st and 2nd editions of the OS 6-inch maps. Some loose stones and a slight hollow might indicate the spot. It was situated on top of a NE-SW narrow ridge in good pasture and with wide views.
