The National Monuments Service's description
An underground cavity with a clay covered floor, and roof and sides of natural rock. It is difficult to say to what extent this is an artificial feature. An entry 1m wide × 0.75m high enters the main 'chamber' which is 1m to 1.5m below ground level and 4m N-S × 2m to 2.8m E-W. A possible side-chamber in the NW cor-ner is now inaccessible. A narrow passage, at the SW end, is now partially destroyed by a road which crosses over this end. There are two small openings through the roof, one to the NE and another to the W. These are possibly air vents. The site is located close to the bottom of a S-facing slope with a lot of rock outcrop and overgrowth.
