The National Monuments Service's description

Marked as a 'Burial Ground' on the 2nd and 3rd editions of the OS 6-inch maps. An almost totally grassed-over flattish mound of stones, which is about .3m in height on the N and about lm in height on the S or downhill side. A slightly raised perimeter in places suggests the former existence of an enclosing wall. A low line of stones forms an apparently modern wall running NW-SE across the end of the site. Sited in good land on a slight N-S downwards slope.

The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.' Compiled by: Brian Lacey with Eamon Cody, Claire Cotter, Judy Cuppage, Noel Dunne, Vincent Hurley, Celie O'Rahilly, Paul Walsh and Seán Ó Nualláin (Lifford: Donegal County Council, 1983). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated.
