The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on S facing slope in rough mountain pasture with good views of the valley to from E through S to W. Two hut sites (DG029-057001/002-) are located 135m to the WNW and a third hut site (DG029-056) is 245m to the NNW. A panel of rock art (DG029-051) is located 120m to the NW. Present remains consist of a sub-rectangular house site (int. dims. 8.4m NW-SE; 4.3m NE-SW) which is defined by low grass-covered walls (H 0.5m ; T. 0.8m) with possible entrance gap (Wth 0.7m) located at NE end of NW wall. A small sunken rectangular hole in the centre of the interior appears to be modern. There is a second smaller house site (DG029-054) adjacent to the SW end of this house. The remains of a field wall (wall T 0.8m) running in an E-W direction is located 4m to the N. This field wall is part of a series of field boundaries which form a complex field system (DG029-052) running across the SW facing slope of Bawnloge Hill. These houses and a number of other hut sites all appear to be associated with the field system and appear to be the remains of a clustered settlement of unknown date.
