The National Monuments Service's description
Internal diam. 24m NW-SE, 21.5m NE-SW. An oval area enclosed by a largely rebuilt stone wall up to 1.5m high and from 1.5m to 3m wide. A 1.2m wide gap on the NE side has been blocked up in recent times. There is a stretch of outer wall c. 1.5m wide and c. 40m long on the W side from 2m to 5m outside the inner wall. The interior slopes gently from N to S. The site is located on a slight rise in pasture land overlooking Mulroy Bay 250m to the W.
