The National Monuments Service's description
There is no surface evidence of this souterrain, uncovered during ploughing c. 50 years ago. It was alleged to have been of drystone construction roofed with flagstones and consisted of 2 connected chambers. It is situated in a grazing field sloping to the S and overlooking Lough Swilly to the W.
The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.'
