The National Monuments Service's description
A standing stone .8m high × 0.5m wide; NW-SE. The date 1819 is incised on it. It is said locally that it was erected in the 17th century by the Dill family. It is also said to be an ogham stone but there is nothing visible to support this claim. Situated in a prominent position close to the crest of Crockastoller hill.
