The National Monuments Service's description
No trace could be found of the 'natural platform about 10m in diameter with an enclosing bank of earth and some stone only a few inches high' or its associated 'Souterrain (DG012-042002-) said to be about 10ft long by 3ft wide and roofed with flags'. (M. R. Calhoun in 1944).
The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.'
