The National Monuments Service's description
Although marked 'Caves' on the 3rd edition of the OS 6-inch maps the site appears to consist of one souterrain with two openings. The first to the S is circular, 1.25m in diameter and extends 2.25m inwards. The second to the N is 1.5m × 0.5m and the entrance lintel has cupmarks on the underside. There are supposed to be three chambers opening off the main shaft. The site is located on rough rocky ground.
