The National Monuments Service's description
The W end of a promontory isolated by natural features. It is defended by a grassed-over stone wall 38m long up to 1.5m in width and 0.5m high. Gaps of 2m at the N and 10m at the S afford entry past the cliff edges. The interior is fairly level.
The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.'
