The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on rough grazing near a disused quarry with views of the Knockbrack Hills to the N and NE and Trawbreaga Bay to the W. A quartzite boulder (1.7m x 1.2m x 0.27m) which has a cup mark enclosed by ten concentric circles, through which two grooves radiate out from the cup-mark at an angle of approximately 160 degrees. The outer circle measures 0.83m in diameter (Crumlish 1991, 171).
