The National Monuments Service's description
A stone 2.83m long and up to .41m wide with grooves cut along the edges. It is possibly a spoiled or unfinished cross. It is now lying in a ditch at Beltra.
The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.'
