The National Monuments Service's description
Four earthen mounds on the SE side of the valley between Crockraw and Cranny Hill (M.R. Colhoun). From N to S. (1) 8m × 4.3m × 1.5m high (2) 6.6m × 2m × 1m high (3) 7.4m × 1.5m × 1m high and (4) to the SE 3m × 1m × 0.5m. They are known locally as 'Giants Graves' or 'Famine Graves' and are situated in rough mountain terrain.
The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.'
