The National Monuments Service's description
Known as Crannog Fort the site comprises of a subcircular area enclosed by a low earthen bank less than 1m high. There are possible traces of a fosse on the W side. It is situated on a heather-covered hillside.
The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.'
