The National Monuments Service's description

Recorded by Brindley and Kilfeather (1993, 8 (entry 56)) as follows: 'three groups of small cairns with kerbs (diam. c. 2m, H c. 0.8m). Masked by dense vegetation at time of inspection.'
Following a gorse fire on the mountain in 2010 two distinct cairnfields were identified and the individual cairns were recorded by Ó Murchú (2011, 63-83) as part of a Master's thesis. See the following record numbers for individual cairns:
