The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Carlow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
Date of upload/revision: 17 July 2007
Marked on 1908 'OS 25-inch' map (max. diam. c. 25m). Cairn of small granite boulders situated on sloping ground (H at NE 0.5m; at SW 1m). Flat-topped (possibly truncated, summit diam. c. 10m; base diam. c. 14m). Monument has been cut back recently at N and NE. Field stones dumped on site.
