The National Monuments Service's description

The area surrounding two ring-ditches (CW016-108---- and CW016-109----) visible on an AP taken by G.F. Barrett (GB89. W17) was archaeologically tested (Excavation Licence 02E0351) to facilitate a housing development in 2002. The remains of field systems were noted to the N and S of the enclosures (see also CW016-119----). No artefacts or datable material were found. (Stafford and Benen, 2002). By 2006 this area was stripped of soil without archaeological supervision (Stafford 2006, 4). The area is now occupied by a housing estate so it must be assumed that no remains of this part of the field system exist here.
