The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Carlow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.

Monument No. HM00326, this monument was entered in the Register of Historic Monuments on the 25 October 1985. Circular area (diam. 60m N-S) enclosed by substantial bank (H 3m above fosse; max. Wth 7.8m) with external fosse (Wth 2.5 - 4.5m; D below field 1.4m). Entrance (Wth 2m) with causeway at SSW. Slight external bank is probably not ancient.
