The National Monuments Service's description
Excavated in advance of construction of the N9/N10 Kilcullen-Waterford Road (Excavation Licence number E3731). Truncated spreads of burnt mound material were uncovered along with a number of pits and possible postholes and a sub-rectangular shaped trough (L 2.18m; Wth 1.64m; D 0.55m) with stake-holes along the edge of its base.
