The National Monuments Service's description
Partially excavated in advance of construction of the N9/N10 Kilcullen-Waterford Road (Excavation Licence number E2618, area c). One of three fulacht fia (see also CW012-115----and CW012-154----) excavated under the same licence. Adjacent to a small stream, a burnt spread (L 18m; Wth 15m) under which was a rectangular trough and a number of pits. (Hackett, L. 2009, 20-4)
