The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Carlow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.

According to O'Donovan (OSL 1839, 16) probably site of 'Cill Eogain'. Present remains consist of oval uncultivated area, enclosed by fence. Within graveyard is plain, bossed solid-wheeled cross and base (CW012-025002). Panel on shaft may have had interlace ornament. Cross is broken into fragments. Aerial photograph (GB89.34) shows enclosure (CW012-025) of 'Killogan burial ground' (Barrett 1989).
