The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Carlow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.

Aerial photographs (CUCAP ASW 23, BDH 86, BGH 34) show circular area surrounded by cropmark of fosse, probably ringfort site (est max. diam. c. 35m). Aerial photograph (BDH 86) shows faint cropmark of fosse of second, smaller enclosure area to NNE (est max. diam. c 30m). No visible surface traces.
