The National Monuments Service's description
Large, square and undecorated limestone font located beside the north pier of the cathedral's crossing tower (CW011-016005-). It is mounted on a large drum-shaped base. The basin is straight sided and has a central drainage hole. (Bradley 1989, 47-8)
