The National Monuments Service's description

This record refers to the original location of the graveslab which is now located on Castlemore motte (CW008-033001-). The exact original location is unknown. According to Orpen (1906, 379) this was moved from a nearby graveyard (CW008-033003-) in the 18th century. Corlett (2003, 94) describes it as a slab (L 1.95m; T 0.3m; Wth 0.58m tapering to 0.35m) in recumbent position decorated with a cross (Wth 0.43m), shaft (Wth 0.1m) and terminating in a cross (Wth 0.32m), all in low relief. There is also a transom (Wth 0.43m) transecting midway along the shaft. It has been ascribed a 13th/early 14th-century date. (See CW008-033007- for present location record)
